Very Easy Practical Theory for Guitar, Keyboard and other Instruments
The aim of this little book is to not only enable you to play guitar chords but to also remove the mystery of what are chords and understand and know how they work.
If you read the first part of this book about practical theory, hopefully this will shed a lot of light on understanding the basics of chords for any musical instrument, not just guitar.
By using this book you should also be able to understand how to find and make any chord yourself.
On the guitar there are many ways to play any one chord so a bit of knowledge can go a long way.
Basically chords are related to the major scale and have a formula.
All the chord diagrams in this book show what that formula is
THE SECRET IS TO FIRST UNDERSTAND THE MAJOR SCALE and to know that
THE KEY TO MUSIC IS THE MAJOR SCALE
The practical theory module shows examples using a keyboard as this makes it easy to understand the basics of chord and scale theory.
This is written with the beginner in mind, you do not need to read music and is very easy to follow.
Once understood you should be able to understand and find both chords and scales for yourself, not just for guitar but other instruments too.

We do a lot of finger picking in this course, simply because if both hands are trained to do complex movement and not just beating out a couple of rhythms, then this enables a guitarist to go further with their playing as they are now armed with the skills for playing in any number of styles and enabling their true creativity
Practise all the exercises shown and try to master them, in many cases try and create your own exercises out of what you have learned
Experiment for your self, try out new ideas
Always practise your chord changes from any new chord you learn to chords you already know, mix them up, try them in different orders
The idea here is that to be able to play any tune or song your chord changes must be smooth and in time

Guitar Finger Picking Tablature Book 1
Training Exercises
A brilliant training manual ideal for both students, musicians and teachers
This has step by step finger picking patterns that you can see and hear and play along to in tablature, it is meant for serious training, but is very easy to use
To be a good finger picker you need to develop finger picking patterns. Now this is the one area that most people who do fail, will fail in this area, quite simply because they do not practise good patterns nor practice the patterns enough.
The key here is Repetition. The patterns need to become spontaneous, and automatic, to enable highly developed Finger Muscle Memory. You need a variety of useful patterns that develop the finger mechanics across the board.
The ultimate aim I believe is that you can play ideas you hear for yourself almost instantly because your fingers know how to find the sounds you are looking for, this comes from repetition of the finger patterns and of course experience in playing. This manual is designed to do just that
